Full-Stack Engineer

Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in Australia or New Zealand) 

Position Overview 

We are seeking a versatile Full-Stack Engineer to join our remote tech team at an exciting and dynamic period of growth and innovation. This role involves significant contributions to both the front-end and back-end development of our interoperable communication platform.  

As a part of our fully remote yet highly connected team, you'll work with the latest technologies, including Vue 3 and Node.js, to enhance our product that connects healthcare professionals across Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to the entire application lifecycle, from concept to deployment and support.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities. 
  • Maintain high standards for code quality and system performance. 
  • Develop, optimise, and maintain the front-end and back-end components of our SaaS platform.  
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software. 

Skills and Experience 

  • Proficiency in Vue.js and Node.js. 
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern web technologies. 
  • Experience with Websockets, WebRTC, and other modern web APIs. 
  • Familiarity with SQL databases, Azure, and Unix-like operating systems. 
  • Experience with Git and third-party APIs. 
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience. 
  • Previous experience in health IT is highly regarded. 
  • Must have a suitable remote working environment (home office budget provided)
